A huge Harry Potter fan, Mandy has reread the books countless times and is honoured to make her first theatre appearance with this incredible cast and production! She has since learned from and worked alongside many talented Toronto artists. After completing her nursing degree, Mandy moved to Toronto in 2014 to pursue her dance career. Mandy has competed in many Canadian and International dance competitions. Mandy later joined community crews, Un1te and Sikat, to further her knowledge in hip hop choreography and fundamental styles including popping, locking, house, and waacking. She has an English degree from U of T and is really happy to be here.īorn and raised in Winnipeg, Mandy began dancing at age 3 and hasn’t stopped since! At Shelley Shearer School of Dance, she trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary and tap. Kelly, a new musical, with music and lyrics by Britta Johnson. Other: Willow in Light (Tarragon Theatre) Medium Alison in Fun Home (The Musical Stage Company/Mirvish, Dora nominee, TTCA winner) Brigid in The Humans (Canadian premiere at Citadel/Canadian Stage) productions at Soulpepper, Theatre Calgary, Tarragon, Theatre Passe Muraille, Segal Centre, YPT, and others. Theatre credits include six seasons at the Stratford Festival: Juliet, Anne Frank, Cordelia, Mary in The Last Wife and The Virgin Trial, Petra in A Little Night Music, Lucy in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Constance in She Stoops to Conquer, Cherry in The Beaux Stratagem, Jessica in The Merchant of Venice. Sara is thrilled to be playing Delphi in the original Canadian company of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child after making her Broadway debut in the same role.
